Procedure to get ration card

To Get a Ration Card

The application can be obtained from your ration office or district office on payment of Re.1/- There are 3 types of cards, yellow, orange & white.
Yellow cards are givent o families belwo the poverty line, i.e, those having an annual income of Rs.15,000/- & Rs.1 Lakh.

Listed below are the various types of forms to be filled by card holders.

1. Fill form No.1 , attach all required documents & pay a fee of Rs.5/-
- To obtain a new ration card (within 10 days)
2. Form no.9 - deleting names from the card
3. Form No.8- adding names
4. Form No.15- Replace a lost or mutilated ration card
5. Form no.14- Change of address


Note: The procedures and documents required differ from one state to another.
