Hi

I am sathish based out of Chennai.

I have already submitted the application form with nessary documents to the respectice officer regarding the name inclusion in electoral rolls a weeks time back.

Pls. let me know what would be the process henceforth?

Wait for a month from submission of application. Then send an application to Election Officer of your area under the Right to Information Act,2005 , asking following questions:

1. Have you received my application for registration as voter as on _____________ ?
2. Please provide name and designation of the officer responsible for entry of the name in electoral role
3. Please provide information weather my name has been included in the electoral rolls for ___________ constituency
4. If yes, please provide the list number and voter number on which my name is included.
5. If my name has not been included, please provide information about any objection you have received to such correction . Also supply me a certified copy of such objection.
6. If no such objection was received, please provide information about reasons for not taking action on my application for inclusion dated _________.
7. Please provide name and designation of the officer responsible for not taking action on my application dated _________.
8. Please provide information about what action has been taken/ will be taken against the officr responsible for not taking action on my application dated _________.
