I was seeking info on RITS Mumbai an Institute offering online degree UG/PG & claims in itself as deemed university. & whose website is : index

Just want to check/know the veracity of this call...!

Haven't heard about it before though the website of the institute list of of things. Have you actually checked it up whether it is a recognized institute?

One enrolled has to just pass an model paper which is based on their work experience & not syllabus based.

This institute isn't UGC Approved. Neither it is AICTE approved. Please dont spoil your career like this. If you really need any degree certificate from any UGC recognized institute then do let me know at my email ID upal@india.com

Bogus! There isn't any University in India till date with such a rule. Sitting at house anyone can ask for anything and claim anything.

Whenever you have doubt regarding the authenticity of an educational institute simply write to them stating that you intend to join as a student and want a certified copy of the institute's recognition letter from UGC/ AICTE or any relevant body. No genuine institute will refuse to provide you this information.

I can only help those guys who are interested in BA & B.com degree or MA & M.Com Degrees. No Science degrees are possible. All UGC Approved Universities but doomed Universities.

The link given in post # 1 is not working any more. It seems that the institution mentioned in the post was a fake one and has ceased to exist.
