he aslo told me that i will get a notice from passport office to pay fine and should apply for re verification in 20 days.<br />
But now its been month and i didnt get any notice<br />
i need to go to USA urgently.<br />
When i tell my situation in enquiry counter secundrebad passport office,<br />
they r tellin me that i can to USA now since even they donno when i will get a notice to pay fine<br />
So now i am confused<br />
can anyone pls throw some light on this</div>

my father was a member of the housing socity which was founded in 1982 and that time we have paid amount which all members paid our socity own 4 acers of land for this socity after that till 1999 it's in same condition that means a registerd socity with no alotment no lay out just land is there <br />
and in 99-2000 65% of socity members aggry to sale this socity to other people at that time my father was not in that metting and some other peoples alos not in metting and this 35% peoples not sign on this proposal <br />
the chairman &amp; 65% peoples aggry to sale socity and take the amount <br />
but reminig 35% will not taken it<br />
after that in 2008 we ask new chairman for the progress but he did't entertend us <br />
told that he has no time to see this socity whenever he call any metting he will inform us <br />
we asked the memer list or progress information he refuse to give<br />
yet no one of us aloted a plot in this socity and the chairman want that we 35% members also sell our plots to him at a nominal cost whether the cost of the cost is near about 10-15 lakhs <br />
so he is not entertaning us<br />

Rather than being a purely religious function, we think it gives an opportunity to members for a social get together and provides a platform to the society kids to exhibit their talents. <br />
 <br />
The organizers take full responsibility to ensure that all required permissions are in place, that loudspeakers are not very loud or blaring indiscriminately, and that members are not inconvenienced in any way. It is more like a social gathering of an extended family. <br />
 <br />
The managing committee has been supportive of the event and in the previous years have even absorbed the extra electricity cost of lighting and music in the society welfare account.The Ganeshotsav is well supported and encouraged by 99% of the members. <br />
 <br />
This year, the managing committee in response to our request for permission have given a reply saying that Ganeshotsav is not a social or cultural event and purely a religious event being organized by a few people in the society open area and hence they cannot give permission. All members except one have already opened their purses voluntarily and given generous contributions. We have already obtained police permission also for music system.<br />
 <br />
I would like to know from the members of this forum whether the stand taken by the managing committee that it is not a social or cultural event is correct, and can they refuse permission even though more than 90% of members want to celebrate the festival?</div>

I bought this flat 5 years back and at that time since OC was not important, I got a loan on this flat. Even Society gave me a NOC but later when I got the possesion, society rejected to transfer the share certificate in my name saying that OC is required to get the name transfered and now society is asking us to get the OC.<br />

Just wanted to know what can be done in this case as I am still struggling and society is not transferring it since 5 years now.<br />

Recently I have lost my original RC book which is of Kerala registration, <br />
I got to know about the procedures for getting a duplicate RC book(lodging police complaint, publishing in news paper). But Kerala RTO is saying that since they have issued NOC, so they can not issue duplicate RC book.<br />
<br />
My bike still have kerala number only, so in this case Bangalore RTO also can not help me as such.<br />
<br />
Can anyone please suggest me how to handle this.<br />
Any sugesstions will help me alot.<br />

I searched for the title in this forum and could not find a thread which discuss this post. That is why I am creating a new thread. I believe that if there are duplicate copies, its hard to search, read and understand.<br />

What I have?<br />

I have a double cylinder gas connection from Indane along with stove about 6 years back and I did not face any problems till today with Indane gas agencies I interact with. I transferred my gas to Kaggadasapura now which comes to Ramanagar Indane Gas Agency (I can get the exact address of the agency by tomorrow). I got a new Gas connection along with one regulator and a stove. I have all the documents with me related to Indane.<br />

What I want?<br />

I want to buy a new gas cylinder regulator as I want to connect that to my gas geyser. I want to know is it legal to buy a new gas cylinder regulator? If so how? If not why it is not legal?<br />
<br />
What I did till now to get what I want?<br />

I heard from one of my friend that I can get regulators in nearby electrical shops, so I asked a shop near to my house but he said it is available and it costs 450 then I asked him to show me then he said it is not publicly shown then I said no no I dont want anything illegal. I want to get it legally then what is the procedure, he said I will never get it. He also mentioned that I need to get a new gas connection to get new regulator. Then I asked another person who delivers gas to my home about getting a regulator. He said you cant get new regulator, you can get the new connection with gas and regulator only if you produce ration card. Then I asked him I dont have ration card (My bad I didnt get a chance to get one), and have passport, driving license for proof then he said no only ration card is valid but why so? Anyways later I asked him why cant I get another regulator without another gas connection? He said he is busy now and asked me to call tomorrow???? Either he does not know or he does not want to discuss with such disgusting guy. hmmm... <br />

Looks like there is going to be an issue here with government policies and regulations. I took some time to look for different options and found this and <acronym title="Right to Information">RTI</acronym> India websites. Thought these two websites are right place to post my problems and hence posting this thread.<br />
<br />
Let me know what I should do now and how can I proceed from here?<br />
<br />
I want to get 2nd regulator and I dont want to do it illegally. Am I posting in the right area? Can I get an answer to my question here?<br />
I appreciate anyone who can respond me and help me.<br />

I paid the advance money to builder(after verifying the docs) and applied for Home Loan from LIC Housing.. the Loan got sanctioned.. but due to slow pace of the project - Registration with LIC could not happen. Hence, old sanction lapsed  and LIC guys asked me to go ahead for re-sanction. When, I did the same - today got to know that LIC Housing can't fund my Loan as their technical team found 2 issues (i) The Base of Project is deviated from the sanctioned plan, (ii) The Top floor(4th one) which the builder is planning to make is not under the plan.<br />
<br />
When I asked builder he assured that:<br />
(i) Deviation is 30% - which is acceptable as per BBMP,<br />
(ii) He is planning to go for akarma-sakarma plan, where the 4th floor can be legalized by paying the required fee.<br />
And, the builder suggested that IDBI bank is agreeing to provide the loan.<br />
<br />
Please suggest, knowing these, should I pull out or should I go ahead with IDBI option.<br />
Please respond at earliest, I am great need of help.<br />

New Delhi: The <b><u><font size="4">Supreme Court has ruled that builders/promoters cannot sell parking areas as independent units or flats as the same is to be extended as “common areas and facilities” for the owners</font></u></b>. A bench of Justices R M Lodha and A K Patnaik in a judgment rejected the argument of a real estate development company that they are entitled to sell garages/stilt parking areas as separate flats to owners who intend to use it as parking facilities. <br />
<br />
   “If a promoter does not fully disclose the common areas and facilities, he does so at his own peril. Stilt parking spaces would not cease to be part of common areas and facilities merely because the promoter has not described the same as such in the advertisement and agreement with the flat purchaser. The <b><u><font size="4">promoter has no right to sell any portion of such building which is not a ‘flat’ within the meaning of Section 2(A-1) and the entire land and building has to be conveyed to the organization</font></u></b>. The only right that remains with the promoter is to sell unsold flats.’’ <br />
<br />
   “It is, thus, clear that the <b><font size="4"><font color="red">promoter has no right to sell stilt parking spaces as these are neither flats nor apartments or attachment to a flat</font></font></b>,’’ Justice Lodha writing the judgment said. <br />
<br />
   The SC passed the judgment while dismissing the appeal of the promoter, Nahalchand Laloochand Pvt Ltd, challenging the Bombay high court’s ruling that under the MOFA (Maharashtra Ownership Flats Act) a builder cannot sell parking slots in the stilt area as independent flats or garage. The apex court accepted the argument of the flat owners of Panchali Co-operative Society in Dahisar (E) that even if they had entered into any prior agreement or contract with the builder that they would not lay any claim on the parking areas, the same would not have any legal sanctity. <br />
<br />
   It brushed aside the claim of the promoter that by treating open/stilt parking space as part of common areas, every flat purchaser will have to bear proportionate cost for the same although he may not be interested in such parking space at all. <br />
<br />
   “As a matter of fact, <b><font color="royalblue">so far as the promoter is concerned, he is not put to any prejudice financially by treating open parking space/stilt parking space as part of common areas since he is entitled to charge a price for the common areas and facilities from each flat purchaser in proportion to the carpet area of the flat</font></b>,” the apex court said.<br />

The train halted at Jhansi , Uttar Pardesh where we got down and from there we brought the body to Delhi again where the cremation was performed. My question is now which municipality we should approach for the issual of death certificate of my father - Municipal Corporation of Delhi , Jhansi or Secunderabad(our place of residence since 20 years now) or is there any separate procedure for the issual of death certificate in this case.</div>

Everbody, I am JO New Office bearer of a Society having 130 members . We have 4 G+4 Buildings without lift with  80 Members &amp; 1 G+7 Building of 32 Members with Lift. WE are collecting Additional Money for Lift Maintenance.<br />
 <br />
Recently Lift Services of Tower Wing due to Collapse of Control Panel. The responsibility was entrusted to Committee Members of Tower Wing who took time by the time they assessed the damage valuable 10 days were lapsed.<br />
 <br />
The Mg Committee Called Emergency Meeting of Mg Committee &amp; Members distributing copies of Quotation. The Quotation of Rs. 96,480 of the Maker of the lift to replace Control Pannel &amp; Cables.<br />
 <br />
At the Meeting it was decided to place the work order by paying 50% Payment  and collect Rs. 2000/-per Flat as the Society had not enough money to bear the Expenses. The same was recorded in the meeting. Only Five of the Mg Committee Members out of 10 were present at the Meeting and one Member made visit after the Proceedings. Accordingly we immediately placed the order for repairs with 50% Payment<br />
 <br />
The Committee Member who attended late messaged his objection in the evening to the decision claiming the MC has now power to convene &amp; Take such decision contending that such decision to be taken only at the general body meeting of the Members. Office bearers refused to go against the decisions and agreed to display Notice in all wings inviting objections if any within 3 days.<br />
 <br />
No objection received within 3 days so the we went ahead with repairs &amp; services were restored. In the Monthly MC Meeting once again the objection was discussed . Both the complaining Members Stand &amp; Office beaeres justification was recorded in the Minutes amicably decided  to discuss the powers of MG Committee in case energency in the next AGM.<br />
 <br />
After 10 days we received 3 complaints, one from 1st flr resident of tower wing &amp; two from the members of G+4 Wings Questioning the Authority of MC holding such meeting <br />
 <br />
Office Bearers justified their action by writting reply :<br />
a) they are empowered by MCS Act to spend up to 1 lacs as the Society has more than 50 Members.<br />
b) Meeting of Tower wing only is called as they are the aggrieved Party &amp; Contributing additionally for the Lift Services.<br />
c) MC is justified in Collecting 2000 per member (Rs.500 pm ) as the Society didn't had enough funds and the same decided after obtaining their approval.<br />
 <br />
The Tower 1st Floor Member replied refusing Contribution on the ground that :<br />
1. no approval is taken from members of other wing which is against Provisions<br />
2.the Contribution is taken forcibly<br />
he marked a copy to Registrar.<br />
 <br />
Now, MC members feel threatened inspite of working voluntarily together for the welfare &amp; welbeing of all the members.<br />
 <br />
 WE Need a guidance whether MC has made any violeance of Provisions of MCS Act.<br />
 <br />
Whether there is any additional power MC can exercise to restore essential services like lift, water, Electricity without which Societies with Large membership cannot function smmothly ?<br />

Suppose, if we purchased the Spl Adhesive Stamps and have not been used for a period of 6 months, <b>can</b> <b>we claim refund after a year or two</b>? Else, we need to claim <b>within 6 months</b>?</font></font><br />

<font face="Calibri"><font face="Calibri"><font size="3">5)</font></font>      </font><font face="Calibri"><font size="3">Who is the authority whether <b>RDO / District Collector / Sub-Registrar</b> to approach &amp; to claim refund?</font></font><br />

<font face="Calibri"><font face="Calibri"><font size="3">6)</font></font>      </font><font face="Calibri"><font size="3">Assume that a <b>borrower approaches a Financial Institution to avail a business loan by mortgaging his properties</b>. And, the Lender (Financial Institution) is not interested to mortgage the said property, instead, he asked the borrower to issue a <b>Demand Draft </b>(the amount to be incurred for Stamp Duty)<b> in favor of his Financial Institution name</b> before entering into an agreement between the parties to get the Special Adhesive Stamps. Also, he added that only Financial Institutions/Banks are authorized to avail the same but not by any individual / borrower<b>. </b>If doing so, are there any chances for the fraudulent by the Lender / Financial Institution, here? And, how to make this financial transaction safer and secured? Can we draft any legal document / agreement here? Is this a good business practice?!</font></font><br />
<br />
<font face="Calibri"><font face="Calibri"><font size="3">7)</font></font>      </font><font face="Calibri"><font size="3">Else, Can the borrower himself go and get the Spl Adhesive Stamps in favor of his company’s name, directly? Usually, if any borrower mortgaging his properties to anyone / financial institutions and avails loan, only the borrower has to bare the registration cost and normally, the borrower would get the <b>Non-Judicial stamps</b> according to the Stamp Duty and register it. And, this is the normal procedure, isn’t it…?! But, don’t know why the Lender asks for <b>DD</b> in favor of his company’s name instead of Borrower’s company name.</font></font><br />
<br />
<font face="Calibri"><font face="Calibri"><font size="3">8)</font></font>      </font><font face="Calibri"><font size="3">And, what are the <b>current Stamp Duty / Registration Fee</b> in Tamil Nadu? <b>Is it 4% or 2%?</b> Is this Fee applicable <b>irrespective of ALL Stamp papers</b> (i.e.) the reg. fee of Non-Judicial Stamps and the reg. fee of Spl Adhesive Stamps are the <b>same</b>?</font></font><br />
<br />
<font face="Calibri"><font face="Calibri"><font size="3">9)</font></font>      </font><font size="3"><font face="Calibri">What would be the <b>proof</b> while purchasing these Spl Adhesive Stamps? Whether any Chelan’s / receipts will be issued or they written the Buyer’s Name anywhere in the Stamps? If the Spl Adhesive Stamps bought by the borrower can be claimed for refund by the lender and vice versa (i.e.) by opposite parties? Else, only the parties who availed these Spl Adhesive Stamps are eligible to avail the refunds?  <font color="black"><font face="Calibri">And, are there any chances for the Lender to get refund / sale the Stamps which are bought by the Borrower?</font></font></font></font><br />

Also, known that most of the Financial intuitions / Banks make use these spl adhesive stamps. However, can anyone let me know the <b>detailed procedure to buy the Spl. Adhesive Stamps</b>?  </font></font><br />

If so, what is the <b>timeframe</b> to claim refund? Suppose, if we purchased the Spl Adhesive Stamps and have not been used for a period of 6 months, <b>can</b> <b>we claim refund after a year or two</b>? Else, we need to claim <b>within 6 months</b>?</font></font><br />

<font face="Calibri"><font face="Calibri"><font size="3">5)</font></font>      </font><font face="Calibri"><font size="3">Who is the authority whether <b>RDO / District Collector / Sub-Registrar</b> to approach &amp; to claim refund?</font></font><br />

<font face="Calibri"><font face="Calibri"><font size="3">6)</font></font>      </font><font face="Calibri"><font size="3">Assume that a <b>borrower approaches a Financial Institution to avail a business loan by mortgaging his properties</b>. And, the Lender (Financial Institution) is not interested to mortgage the said property, instead, he asked the borrower to issue a <b>Demand Draft </b>(the amount to be incurred for Stamp Duty)<b> in favor of his Financial Institution name</b> before entering into an agreement between the parties to get the Special Adhesive Stamps. Also, he added that only Financial Institutions/Banks are authorized to avail the same but not by any individual / borrower<b>. </b>If doing so, are there any chances for the fraudulent by the Lender / Financial Institution, here? And, how to make this financial transaction safer and secured? Can we draft any legal document / agreement here? Is this a good business practice?!</font></font><br />
<br />
<font face="Calibri"><font face="Calibri"><font size="3">7)</font></font>      </font><font face="Calibri"><font size="3">Else, Can the borrower himself go and get the Spl Adhesive Stamps in favor of his company’s name, directly? Usually, if any borrower mortgaging his properties to anyone / financial institutions and avails loan, only the borrower has to bare the registration cost and normally, the borrower would get the <b>Non-Judicial stamps</b> according to the Stamp Duty and register it. And, this is the normal procedure, isn’t it…?! But, don’t know why the Lender asks for <b>DD</b> in favor of his company’s name instead of Borrower’s company name.</font></font><br />
<br />
<font face="Calibri"><font face="Calibri"><font size="3">8)</font></font>      </font><font face="Calibri"><font size="3">And, what are the <b>current Stamp Duty / Registration Fee</b> in Tamil Nadu? <b>Is it 4% or 2%?</b> Is this Fee applicable <b>irrespective of ALL Stamp papers</b> (i.e.) the reg. fee of Non-Judicial Stamps and the reg. fee of Spl Adhesive Stamps are the <b>same</b>?</font></font><br />

<font face="Calibri"><font face="Calibri"><font size="3">9)</font></font>      </font><font size="3"><font face="Calibri">What would be the <b>proof</b> while purchasing these Spl Adhesive Stamps? Whether any Chelan’s / receipts will be issued or they written the Buyer’s Name anywhere in the Stamps? If the Spl Adhesive Stamps bought by the borrower can be claimed for refund by the lender and vice versa (i.e.) by opposite parties? Else, only the parties who availed these Spl Adhesive Stamps are eligible to avail the refunds?  <font color="black"><font face="Calibri">And, are there any chances for the Lender to get refund / sale the Stamps which are bought by the Borrower?</font></font></font></font><br />

I applied for Passport on <b>10/03/2008 </b>from <b>Kolkata </b> while i was studying in Durgapur. I mentioned the Current address as My college address. My file Number was  <b>CAL-A019479-08.</b>  My police verification was complete on time. But for months my passport  didn't arrived. I went to Kolkata Many a times but of no use. <br />
 <br />
After this i got job and moved to Lucknow in October 2008. I enquired  about my Passport and the status was RETURNED UNDELIVERED but, on  enquiry in college and the post office there at college no passport has  ever arrived. As i didn't had the address proof of my college and  was  residing in Lucknow for more than 2 yrs.<br />
 <br />
I applied again on <b>17/05/2010</b> from <b>Lucknow</b> Office mentioning the old File Number and also mentioned that the Passport was never received.  My File Number is <b>LKO-A085223-10.</b> My police verification was completed and the online status said <br />
&quot;<b>Police Report is clear and Passport is expected to be despatched by 26-08-2010. Subject to all documents being in order.&quot;</b> <br />
but on 18/08/2010 my status changed to <br />
&quot;<b>Application has been transferred to policy section. Please meet PRO.</b>&quot;<br />

</font>When I met the PRO he told me that the OLD Application from Kolkata Has  not been closed yet and i have been issued a passport on 24/04/2009 on  that file and it's status is RETURNED UNDELIVERED. He told me that  Either i get my passport from Kolkata or get the file closed in Kolkata.  I also met the RPO and he told me the same thing and also that it's no  use coming to the Lucknow Passport Office now, until I follow what he  said.<br />

I have no address proof of the previous file as i have left the college.<br />
 <br />
I have no one known in Kolkata also.<br />
 <br />
I don't know what to do . Please if any of u can give me some direction on what to do ?? should i goto Kolkata and ask for hand delivery or for file closure or file transfer?<br />

We, out of our own initiative, carried out repairs on common areas of the passage near our flat due to the above factors and the sheer embarrassment caused due to the state of affairs. Are we eligible for a deduction in our maintenance charges for the amount of repairs carried out by us? since our invoice for the same has been returned by society without any reason and we expect them to levy the same charges and interest on it ... kindly advise! many thanks.</div>

I have got the following queries :<br />

1. What are the rights of the member relating to car parking in Delhi Co-operative society.<br />
 <br />
2. My own problem is that i'am residing in a Co-Op Society in Delhi and  own 3 cars. I have been paying the parking charges for 2 cars as of now  and am willing to pay for the third car too. But the issue is that some  members have passed a ruling in AGM that third car can't be allowed in  Society premises, despite the fact that there is ample space in the  Society. How can any AGM ruling override my fundamental right to own  property and movable assets. Also co-operative society law is based on  mutual co-operation, if even one member is not satisfied , the principle  of Mutual cooperation gets flawed.<br />

I would be really greatful, if you all can help me with some inputs.</div>

I am staying in a town in <u><font color="#009900">Maharashtra</font></u>. I purchased an apartment from a builder in an area where the society was already existing. We did all the formalities for becoming part of the society. The society has 3 <u><font color="#009900">apartments</font></u>, about 30 odd bunglows.<br />
The builder also stays in the same society and is chairman of the society. However when asked about society registation, he is showing some deed of declaration and claiming that the <u><font color="#009900">registration</font></u> is under apartments act and hence no need to register.<br />
I am wondering if 30 bunglows + 70 flat can be united under apartments act. <br />
The society has 99% population of same religion people and off late the society disintegrated into two factions over dispute of constructing a temple in the premises, as the temple is of a hindu goddess and not of the majority religion group.<br />
Now the builder is thinking of revoking some clause he had printed in the deed of apartment where he could recover some maintenance charge from each holder.<br />
Actually in the past there was one time maintenance levied (proior my purchase) however same was refunded thereafter by the then board.<br />
After reading flat ownership act and apartment ownership act I am totally confused as to legality of the existence of the society, if builder can demand one time maintenance when flats were sold 2-10 yrs earlier.<br />
<br />
I am also confused as to whether it is beneficial if a society is formed for me or it is better this way. And when on paper if apartment act is applicable, can a society of many building and bunglows be formed and can such society get a right to non-occupancy charges and <u><font color="#009900">transfer</font></u> fees.<br />
<br />
Valuable inputs from learned people here w'd defintely help me in shaping my strategy. <br />
Honestly I feel there should be separate society for each building and one for bunglows. However in that case my building has only 10 flats and what c'd be the ways out for me.</div>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div>We have been a very quite society for the last 10 years and have functioned in utmost peace and had never had problems till last year when 3 ground floor members created permanent structures and blocked the entire rear side of the society space. The members claim that the builder has sold the flats as “garden flat “for which there is no documentary proof. The society has been kind enough to take a year to send notices to them and finally send the official complaint to the concerned authorities for which no action has been taken for the past one month. One of the members who knows aspect of law and is also a central govt employee is the one who has taken this lead and instigating other members and sending letter on their behalf to the committee member with all the loopholes he has found out in the constitution of the committee for these years. The entire committee members are peace loving members and none of them have the time and capacity to give a fitting reply to these erring members. They are there because none of the other members are willing to take up this thankless job. They have approached me to help them out and I request learned members to guide me on the current scenario….<br />
1.Our society was registered in 2000 and the first constituted AGM was conducted on April 2001. There after the 2nd and the 7th AGM were conducted before the 14th August and the rest have been conducted after that date keeping in convenience to its members. None of the members have ever complained about this till date. Off late a couple of member against whom the society has initiated action for illegal constructions have raked this issued and threatened the MC members of challenging the same to the concerned authorities. Need to understand the implications of it and how do we ratify it. <br />
2.Since 2001 none of the MC members have filled form M 20 till date. Surprisingly, both the issue makers have held post separately as secretary and treasurer since 2002 till 2009. None of them have ever brought to the general body’s notice but now have challenged the constitution of existing committee members. Need to understand this in detail and how to ratify the same.<br />
3.What is the mandatory space that the builder has to hand over the society as per law? Can a builder sell society space members as ‘garden flats”?<br />
4.Can members of first floor and above enclose the balcony area (parapet) area with grills for security?? What if it’s a reseller who has purchased it from the original buyer?<br />
5.Who can be an associate member and a nominal member??<br />
6.On the share certificate if the wife’s name is first and then the husband ……who is the original member and who is an associate member??<br />
7.Can a associate member be elected to hold office and be part of the MC. How can one become an associate member??<br />
8. Can any deficiency of services and negligence by the management committee of co-operative societies who are doing a honorary job be challenged under the Consumer Protection Act of 1986 along with the GRS 342(E) dated 31st May, 2005 ??<br />

I have a issue on hand &amp; it goes like this. In 2008, I bought a semi constructed duplex house from a builder in hyderabad for a said amount. At the time of agreement he said that I have to pay VAT and Service Tax to which I agreed. Then an agreement of sale has been signed by both the parties. He says that I need to pay VAT at the rate of 4% for which I disagree as I am liable to pay VAT at the rate of 1% only. The builder disagrees and said that i'm compelled to pay 4% and then he gave me an advanced ruling copy from the CTO department, which also clearly mentions that in a particular scenario, as in my case i'm liable to pay 1%. There has been a dispute going on since the past 2 years and the builder is not handing over possession to me. He collected the major amount from me and only a small amount is left behind now, which I haven't paid yet. He is sitting over the issue and delaying handing over the house. <br />

I even went to the ACTO (Audit) of the Commercial Taxes Dept (CTD), as suggested by the builder and explained the case to him, and ACTO after going through the case details, also agreed that i'm liable to pay only 1% of VAT. Now when I referred back to the builder he disagrees and asks me to get the same in writing from the ACTO or CT Dept. When I asked the ACTO, he says that he can't give anything in writing. So i'm getting sandwiched in the process, and I came across this site where help/guidance can be shared.<br />

I can furnish the advance ruling attachments in case anyone of you might be interested to read. Also, if you require any more information, then i'd be glad to share.<br />

If I missed out something then please feel free to address it also in the reply.<br />

So how do I ask/request the CommTax dept. to issue a letter or something in regard to this??? Or any other guidance would be appreciated.<br />

But meanwhile i  noticed some of files were not scanned properly and asked them what to   do with these file they replied me type them as they are seen.  I am  confident that I did not had any mistake in  typing the matter but they  declared me unqualified that i have achieved 91% marks and they only  pass if a person scores 97% marks.  I asked them again to recheck  because they have send me corrupted files which might be he cause but  they are still not replying and declaring  the same result i.e. 91%.  I  have paid them 2000 registration fees and Presently I am their societies  member.  I have maintained the typed matter and kept it on my hard disk  safely to present them in any inquery if i have been helped.  What kind  of help I can have this is my query.</blockquote></div>

i live in a CHS in mumbai and the society has put a notice that the car owners who has not taken stilt parking will not be allowed to park the car any were in the society.<br />
so my question is can the society not allow the owners to park the car in the open area is it legal.<br />
and if it is legal so what are the car owners suppose to do who cant buy the stilt parking (rs.200000) are they suppose to park on the street.<br />
