The allocation is finalised on the basis of policy guidelines from MOP & NG The distributor issues a booklet called the Domestic Consumer Gas Card, popularly known as the Blue Book or the Pass book, where particulars of LPG history of the consumers, the details of supply and other services are entered by the distributor's staff Distributors stock only ISI certified hotplates, as ensured by the Oil Companies. However, it is not mandatory for you to buy your hot-plate from the distributor. Any make of your choice and from the source of your choice will suffice as long as it bears the ISI mark.
