Dear sir,
i am a brahmin boy of age 21 and want to marry a sindhi girl who is 18!! but her family member are not ready and even have threatened me so we have decided to go for court marrige???I need to know the procedure and the documents required for it!! one problem is that i have heard that the court will send a notice to girls's parent about the marrige but if it will be done so in our case then definately they will try to do anything to stop this marrige so is there any way to avoid this notice or is there any other way???plz do reply i need it very much!!

common charlie, you are just 21 and the girl is 18,can't you wait some more time eventhough,both of you are legally entitled to do so.

sorry for this unasked adivice.still,i couldnot refrain from giving one,as i have seen the fate of such immature actions.

By that waiting,you may be able to influence the parents also and get their consents too.

As the other member said, take care of your personal things

As far as the law of marriage concerns, both you could register a marriage under special marriage act as you belong to different religion.

To put it simple, if you need good support, you can always give a compliant to police station asking for protecting your girls' rights.

Beware and make sure that she would stand for you under all circumstances.

I strongly suggest you to consult somebody, especially a lawyer / social worker who could guide you thru.
