| under ITR 1(E-filing) says : it is for individuals having income from salary / pension / family pension & interest : 1. if the assessing officer does not grant the refund a) in any case where the total income of the assessee does not consist soley of income from interest on securities / dividends, within 3 months from end of the month in which the total income is determined under this act. -- the central government shall pay the assessee simple interest at 15% per annum or the amount directed to be refunded from the date immediately following the expiry of the period of 3 months aforeside to the date of the order granting the refund. 2. where any question arises as to the period to be excluded for the purpose of calculation of interest under the provision of this section, such question shall be determined by the chief commissioner / commissioner whose decision shall be final. 3. provision of this section shall not apply in respect of any assessment for the assessment year or any subsequent assessment years. under ITR V(E-filing) says: where the data of the return of income / fringe benefit inform ITR-1, ITR-2, ITR-3, ITR-4, ITR-5, ITR-6 & ITR-8 transmitted electronically without digital signature. - form 30 should be submitted to the commissioner. i have given you details, i think this can help you..these are all for claiming the refund of income tax...
