Need Help Pan card status

Dear Sir / Madam,

My Name is Suresh & My father name is Ponnusamy.

I have applied for new pan card vide UTITSL application no. "044691349" and Processing fee coupon no. is "031245734" dated 03 FEB 2009.

Till date I am unable to track the application on internet (http://www.utitsl.co.in/ utitsl/site/pantracker.jsp), saying that unable to found.

Kindly let me know the status of my application. How many days will this process takes place. When will I receive my pan card????

I have to submit my pan number as early as possible to my office department.

Waiting for your action.

Your immediate response will be very much helpful for me.

It takes around 2 months to reach pan card at ur place. but still if u want to know the status then visit incometaxindia.gov.in. Here u will be required to fill the acknowledement no. and u will get to know the status

Their is no use of complaint, I have registered complaint against the Pan Card department many times, but this is a complete wast of time, I also lodge the complaint at consumer court (Pan Card status) but no use.
All the Govt department are the same, first of all you have to give them bribe then only they will look at your matter otherwise go to hell.

Even I am frustrated with the PANcard issuing agencies, especially UTI. It is so thick skinned that its staff is more burocratic that govt. departments.

I submit PAN applications on behalf of my clients. But on more than two occasions it so happened that I could trace the card Nos. on net but never received them. Earlier UTI used to send PANcards by courier. But now in its inexplicable wisdom, it has started sending them by post. And the area where my clients are located, although on the outskirts of Dombivli near Kalyan in Maharashtra, a city of 8 lakh people, postal service is as good as non-existent. So the cards never came.

Since UTI's phone numbers are never picked up, I travelled 50 kilometers to their office. But the boys and girls handling customer counters (in fact they are small windows covered by glass and grill like railway ticket booking windows), carelessly asked me to submit application for duplicate card.

My protests that the cards have never reached us and requests for sending the cards by courier or handing over in person fell on deaf ears.
They just don't bother to even listen to you.

What is the solution?

You will be given an acknowlegment number in ur recepit..Go to this link https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/pan/index.htmland enter into the status track for PAN application.Give ur acknowlegment number and in the application type select PAN-new/change Request.

if there is abnormal delay in issue of pan card, use RTI Act. Send an applicatition under RTI Act to seek information about pan card status.
