Dear sir,
i am a brahmin boy of age 21 and want to marry a sindhi girl who is 18!! but her family member are not ready and even have threatened me so we have decided to go for court marrige???I need to know the procedure and the documents required for it!! one problem is that i have heard that the court will send a notice to girls's parent about the marrige but if it will be done so in our case then definately they will try to do anything to stop this marrige so is there any way to avoid this notice or is there any other way???plz do reply i need it very much!!

The Court doesnt send notice to the corresponding couples home, it will just display the information on its notice board for any objection.

Both of you are above the legal age for marriage so legally there is no problem for marriage. YOU CAN GO FOR COURT MARRIAGE. You can very well get married at Registrar Office at your place. To my knowledge ONE MONTH'S PRIOR NOTICE IS REQUIRED TO BE GIVEN TO THE COURT/REGISTRAR OFFICE. THE COURT/REGISTRAR DISPLAYS THAT NOTICE AT ITS NOTICE BOARD AND IF NO OBJECTION AGAINST MARRIAGE IS RECEIVED BY THE COURT/REGISTRAR WITH IN THAT ONE MONTH PERIOD, THEN YOU CAN GO AHEAD WITH THE MARRIAGE.

For court marriage, you have to submit proofs of age and residence for both bride and groom. 2 passport size photographs are needed of both bride and groom.

2 witnesses are required at the TIME OF MARRIAGE.

The best and easy way would be "Marriage through Arya Samaj" if willing.

But even with Arya samaji marriage, please donot forget to register the marriage as it wil be very useful in case of any dispute. Also keep your age proofs handy and ready.
