I need some urgent help!! For safety reasons, I have constructed a grill around my shop in a registered society (within the society compound and inside of the 'Sajja' area near my shop). I had also informede the Society regarding this, and they have No objections to this. However, the Municipal corporation officials have given a notice to clear the grill within 24 hours or else they will demolish/uproot the grills. All the buildings in the nearby area have similar grills around thier shops, and No one has been given any notice. I would like to know the rules/regulations in this aspect, and also procedures to obtain Permission from the BMC for erecting this grill (Approx size would be 8ft x 2 ft) for personal safety reasons. Recently, my Old shutter was stolen from the area next to my shop. Anyone who can give his inputs to solve the above issue is sincerely Welcome. Brgds, Bala |

But on legal side ,Fire a RTI application through which you can ask BMC to provide documents on what base the other person are allowed and under what rules and if not who is the responsible officer. |

I would like your advise on the below: Till now, the BMC has issued me a notice to remove the grill (Last week), but no action has been taken till now. 1) If they do remove the grill, will they take it away or they will just break it and leave it there. 2) If I file a RTI application, assuming that the application will move to the concerned officer for a reply -- Will he then initiate action at that time, as till now there is no action initiated. The above questions are disturbing, hence I am not able to proceed further - I have already made the RTI application and kept it ready, but have not given it, thinking that if I take up this matter -- It may then initiate action, else (As it is not a very big matter for the BMC - it will be left out) Your kind advise on the above complexity will be highly appreciated Thanks and best regards, Bala |

They will take the gril with them . at that time you should fire RTI application .and ask them that how many grils they have uprooted and on................ Be bold and talk them face to face . if your grils is uprooted then the grills of others will not be there definately But for that U will have to fight it out. |

Incase if they do so, how to recover the same from them?? Obviously they don't have the right to confiscate it and sell it out?? Brgds, Bala |
