Hi,

I had a old cancelled passport which is currently lost.
I am in a emergency to apply for my Australia visa and they are asking my old passport, as there is a reference in my current passport.

With this being the case i here in my native to collect a FIR for my lost old cancelled passport.

What sud be the step forward on this case.

Do i need to apply again for a passport after the FIR.

Please looking for the porcedure at the earliest.

Hi !
You should file an FIR and collect the GDE entry report. There after, submit an application to the passport authority along with the Police report of missing the same. A duplicate will be issued after payment of necessary fee. You produce the same for renewal of it. Hence, there is no necessary to avail new passport.

I too i'm in the same situation, i am about to travel to UK, and when i was filling my application it asked my "previous details and where it is now". I was just wondering what to do...
I had a passport, and requested for change of address, and got a fresh one in 2009. The old passport was sealed canceled and, i think i've misplaced it..
Now i've given visa application with out stating the loss..
What shall i do? I got a complaint registered, got an affidavit and finally the acknowledgment.
I think as the passport is cancelled, i wont be getting a copy of it? What is the process in the passport office once i've registered a complaint?
Also, i already have a valid fresh passport.

But i already have a fresh passport, so i don't need a duplicate and renew it ryt?? Please help me in this regard
